Prime Minister Amarasuriya meets Kenyan Deputy President Kindiki on CHOGM sidelines

Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya met H.E. Prof. Kithure Kindiki, Deputy President of Kenya, on 03 November 2026 on the sidelines of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) in Antigua and Barbuda.

Both sides reaffirmed the strong and longstanding relations between Sri Lanka and Kenya. Discussions centred on exploring avenues to further strengthen bilateral cooperation, particularly in agriculture, trade and investment, and climate financing.
