MPs raise plantation land and housing issues at ministerial consultative committee

Minister Samantha Vidyarathna chaired a recent meeting of the Ministerial Consultative Committee on Plantation and Community Infrastructure Affairs.

Members of Parliament raised several issues affecting the plantation sector, including the utilization of unused plantation lands, land-related challenges faced by plantation communities, and the provision of housing facilities for these communities.

Deputy Minister of Plantation and Community Infrastructure Sundaralingam Pradeep and several Members of Parliament also attended the meeting.
