Minister of Industries Wimal Weerawansa will undergo a 14-day quarantine after several Policemen attached to his security team tested positive for the coronavirus.
Minister Weerawansa taking to his official Facebook account said his office at the Ministry of Industries was disinfected and has been sealed for 14-days.
The Minister added duties of the Ministry are being carried out as per usual.
He requested the public to remain cautious and to refrain from visiting the Ministry unnecessarily.
