Samagi Jana Balawegaya Parliamentarian Thalatha Athukorala says Wimal Weerawansa and Udaya Gammanpila who were sacked from their Ministerial portfolios must sit in the opposition.
Speaking during a media briefing in Colombo today, MP Athukorala said their ideologies cannot be trusted if they continue to be members of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna government.
The Parliamentarian said the two MPs are attempting to create various opinions adding however they must sit in the opposition in order to reveal the truth.
The MP said necessary action must be taken within the Parliament Chamber in order to prove their intentions.
Commenting on several issues that have arisen in the country, MP Thalatha Athukorala said print media stated gas stocks sufficient for only three days are available.
She said all households in Colombo, suburbs and other cities use gas to fulfil their needs.
The MP questioned the state of the administration that is unable to ensure a steady supply of gas.
MP Athukorala said housewives, students, professionals, three-wheeler drivers, bus owners, small scale business owners and other industrialists are all facing hardships.
