State Minister Dilum Amunugama says the government will not sell or handover any strategic economic hubs in Colombo to China or any other nation.
Speaking to media in Kandy this morning, State Minister Amunugama said however shares of companies are being sold to various parties which has been a common practice.
The State Minister said shares of private and public companies are being sold depending on the demands but claimed that the present administration will not sell or lease any institution outright.
On a sperate note, State Minister Dilum Amunugama said the Sri Lanka Freedom Party as a constituent party of the government has a right to raise their concerns with the President.
He said however he opposes the move by some SLFPers who have been criticising the government in public forums.
State Minister Amunugama said following the recent No-Confidence Motion vote, the government has patched its differences and is focused on taking forward its programme.
