The National People’s Power says it has not changed its stance of not supporting the current government led by Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Speaking to NewsRadio, Parliamentarian Harini Amarasuriya said they oppose the formation of the government through various deals.

MP Amarasuriya said therefore they will not be a party to the government or its programmes.

She said however the NPP will extend its support to the Prime Minister and the government on progressive Constitutional Amendments such as the proposed 21st Amendment to the Constitution.
