Veteran Actor Sarath Chandrasiri has passed away while receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital.
A spokesperson for the Colombo National Hospital said he was deceased at around 12 this morning.
Sarath Chandrasiri was 57 years old at the time of his death.
He was a resident of Panadura and contributed to a number of films, teledramas and stage plays during his acting career.
Details of the funeral are yet to be announced.
