The validity period of licenses issued for mining and the sale of minerals, which expired on the 1st of August has been extended to the 30th of September.
The extension was announced since industries using mineral substances as ingredients in production processes, were experiencing difficulties in sourcing raw materials due to travel restrictions imposed to curb the spread of coronavirus.
Therefore, the Geological Survey & Mines Bureau said the validity period of all licenses which have been presented for renewal, and licenses that expired on the 1st of August has been extended till the 30th of September.
