Fully vaccinated Sri Lankans arriving from India will not require prior approval from the Foreign Ministry to enter the country.
Speaking to NewsRadio Chairman of the Civil Aviation Authority Upul Dharmadasa said they will have to undergo a PCR test at the airport upon arrival.
He noted however that the directive does not apply to arrivals from other countries.
The Director General of Health Services has also issued new guidelines pertaining to the decision.
