COLOMBO (NewsRadio); Two Iranian nationals who arrived in the country from Kuwait have been deported after officials found that the duo had traveled with forged passports.
Immigration officials have identified the duo were in possession of two forged Norwegian passports.
The two Iranian nationals, aged 40 and 52 had obtained the forged Norwegian passports in Turkey for 10,000 Euros through a broker.
During integration, officials had been informed that the duo had attempted to flee to Sweden via Sri Lanka due to political instability in Iran.
Following investigations, the two Iranian nationals had been deported to Kuwait by Immigration officials.
