(NewsRadio); Two individuals have robbed around Rs. 6 million from a furniture shop in Meegoda.
Police said the duo entered the store wearing helmets and then threatened the workers with a T-56 firearm and a pistol.
The robbers had threatened the cashier and obtained the locker pass code.
After the incident, the robbers had fled the area in a motorcycle.
The Meegoda Police is conducting investigations to apprehend the perpetrators after obtaining CCTV footage.
