COLOMBO (NewsRadio); The Professionals Trade Union Collective is scheduled to convene today to discuss future action regarding the tax increase and several other matters.

The Collective will meet in Colombo to hold discussions on future trade union action against the tax increase, new legislations introduced by the government among others.

The Collective on a number of occasions previously staged strikes and demonstrations demanding the government to reduce the recent tax increase which according to them is unfair and has adversely affected their lifestyle.
