COLOMBO (NewsRadio); The Department of Meteorology predicts showers or thundershowers at a few places in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-western provinces and in the Galle, Matara and Mullaitivu districts during the evening or night.
The Met Department added a few showers can be expected in the Southern province and in the western coastal areas during the morning.
Meanwhile, the general public has been requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
