COLOMBO (NewsRadio); The Department of Meteorology predicts several spells of showers in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-Western provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts today.
The Met Department said mainly fair weather will prevail elsewhere.
Meanwhile, fairly strong winds of about 30-40kmph can be expected at times over the Northern, North-Central and Eastern provinces.
State Minister of Finance Ranjith Siyambalapitiya has confirmed that import restrictions on 300 products will be lifted by the weekend.
