Three Lankan stars will be in action tomorrow at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Japan.
Kumudu Priyanka Dissanayake will feature in the Women’s Long Jump -T47 event tomorrow morning.
The event is slated to get underway at 6.05am at the National Olympic Stadium in Tokyo.
Kumudu Priyanka Dissanayake has a personal best of 4.89m in Long Jump and will struggle to compete for medals at the Paralympic games.
Meanwhile, Saman Subasinghe will feature in the Men’s 400m -T47 heats also in the morning.
Subasinghe will feature in the second heat to be held at 7.15am at the National Olympic Stadium in Tokyo.
He has a personal best of 49.75s. Meanwhile, Sampath Bandara will feature in Archery Men’s Individual Recurve – Open event.
Bandara will take on India’s Vivek Chikara in the 1/16 Elimination round to progress to the pre-quarter finals.
The event will be held at the Yumenoshima Park Archery Field from 8.45am.
Meanwhile, Palitha Halgahawela will compete in the finals of the Men’s Shot Put – F63 event on Saturday.
