A special discussion between representatives of teacher and principal unions got underway at 9 this morning.
The discussion was due to focus on the decision by the Cabinet of Ministers, to address teacher salary anomalies through the next Budget, as it is not a possibility at present.
Chief Secretary of the Ceylon Teachers’ Service Union Mahinda Jayasinghe when contacted by NewsRadio said future trade union action to resolve salary anomalies will be discussed.
