COLOMBO (NewsRadio); An individual has sustained injuries in a shooting reported near the Balapitiya Magistrate’s Court this morning.
Police said a teacher, now attached to the Ambalangoda Educational Zone sustained injuries in the incident.
He also reported had served as the deputy principal of a leading school in Ambalangoda.
The motive behind the shooting is unclear while investigations are underway to apprehend the perpetrator.
