Another 23 persons succumbed to the novel coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The Department of Government Information said Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 related death toll increased to 13,950.
11 males and 12 females were among the victims.
The 11 male victims were over 60 years of age.
Of the female victims, 10 were over 60 years, while one was between 30 and 59 years and one was below 30 years.
India has urged its citizens travelling to or living in Canada to "exercise utmost caution".
