Another 31 persons succumbed to the novel coronavirus during the past 24 hours.

The Department of Government Information said Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 related death toll increased to 13,408.

20 males and 11 females were among the victims. 16 males were over 60 years of age while four were between the ages of 30 and 59.

Of the female victims, seven were over 60 years, while four were between 30 and 59 years.
