Another 63 persons have succumbed to the novel coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The Department of Government Information said Sri Lanka’s COVID-19 related death toll increased to 4,571.
36 males and 27 females were among the victims.
26 males were over 60 years of age while 10 were between the ages of 30 and 59.
Of the female victims, 20 were over 60 years and seven were between 30 and 59.
