Sri Lanka restricted the Thailand women’s team for 78/7 in 15 overs after being sent into bat.
Chanida Sutthiruang top scored with 31 off 24 balls.
For Sri Lanka, Inoshi Priyadharshani picked up 4/10.
Sri Lanka completed the chase in 10.5 overs.
The chase was spearheaded by Anushka Sanjeewani who scored 32 from 23 balls while skipper Chamari Athapaththu hit 27 in 21 deliveries.
Sri Lanka will now take on Pakistan in the semi-final on Sunday in Hangzhou.
