Kusal Mendis top scored with 54 in just 29 balls. Mendis hit six fours and three sixes.
His opening partner Pathum Nissanka scored 21.
The pair put on 57 runs for the opening wicket.
At the latter part of the innings, Wanindu Hasaranga scored 37 in 14 deliveries which included four fours and two sixes.
Earlier, Zimbabwe captain Craig Ervine won the toss and elected to field first.
Meanwhile, the second and final warm-up game of Sri Lanka ahead of the World Cup will be played on Thursday against Ireland at the Junction Oval in Melbourne.
The game is scheduled to get underway at 9.30 Sri Lanka time.
Sri Lanka, the 2014 World T20 Champions will take on Namibia in the World Cup opener on the 16th of October.
The Group A encounter is scheduled to take place in Geelong at 9.30am Sri Lanka time.
