A 22-member Sri Lanka squad led by Dimuth Karunaratne has been named for the upcoming two-match test series against the West Indies.
Sri Lanka Cricket said the squad named by the National Selection Committee has been ratified by the Minister of Youth and Sports.
Seniors Angelo Mathews, Dinesh Chandimal, Dhananjaya de Silva and Suranga Lakmal have been named to take on the West Indies.
Oshada Fernando, Pathum Nissanka, Charith Asalanka, Minod Bhanuka, Roshen Silva, Kamil Mishara, Ramesh Mendis and Chamika Karunaratne have also been named in the squad.
Lakshan Sandakan, Lasith Embuldeniya, Praveen Jayawickrama, Suminda Lakshan, Vishwa Fernando, Dushmantha Chameera, Lahiru Kumara, Asitha Fernando and Chamika Gunasekara who are part of the squad will be competing for a place in the playing XI as bowlers.
The first Test Match of the series will commence on the 21st November, 2021 at the Galle International Cricket Stadium.
