Sri Lanka will take on Australia in the fourth One-Day International of the five-match series in Colombo this afternoon.

The penultimate game of the series is scheduled to get underway at the R Premadasa International Cricket Stadium at 2.30pm.

Sri Lanka who are leading the series 2-1 after back-to-back victories will be hoping to clinch the series with a win this evening.

They beat the Australians by six wickets in the third ODI at the same venue on Sunday.

The Lankans also won the second game played in Kandy on Thursday by 26 runs under DLS method.

The Aussies secured victory in the series opener by 2 wickets under the DLS method.

The visitors are troubled by injuries to multiple players and will once again field a depleted side.

Sri Lanka will also miss the services of Danushka Gunathilaka and Wanindu Hasaranga due to injuries but Kusal Mendis who hobbled off the field while batting in the third ODI is expected to be fit for today’s encounter.
