The Sri Lanka Emerging Team is scheduled to leave for the United Kingdom in May to play three Four-Day matches and three T20s.

Sri Lanka Cricket in a statement said the Emerging Team will land in the UK on the 1st of May.

The series will commence with the four-day matches, beginning 6th of May.

According to the schedule announced by SLC, four-day games will be played in Kent, Hampshire, Surrey and Gloucestershire.

The T20s will be worked off in Surrey, Somerset and Gloucestershire.

The tour will be an ideal platform to provide exposure and experience to emerging’ players to compete at International level.
