Sri Lanka Cricket and the Ministries of Tourism and Sports have made arrangements to dedicate the Sri Lanka-Australia Test match in Galle to the legendary Shane Warne, who passed away in March.
Taking to Twitter, Minister of Tourism Harin Fernando said the CEO of Cricket Australia confirmed that Shane Warne’s family members will be attending the match.

The greatest leg-spinner of all-time passed away in Thailand, of a suspected heart attack on the 4th of March 2022.
Issuing a statement, Warne’s management said, “Shane was found unresponsive in his villa and despite the best efforts of medical staff, he could not be revived. The family requests privacy at this time and will provide further details in due course.”
The 1st Test Match is scheduled to get underway on the 29th of June in Galle.
