Defending Champions Kandy Sports Club extended its winning run by beating Sri Lanka Police 36-23 in an Inter-Club A-Division Rugby League Tournament encounter in Nittawela this evening.
Kandy led 24-06 at half-time but Police managed to test the bench strength of defending champions through some clinical send-half play.
The fifth win in five games ensured Kandy remains second in the League Points Table behind Havelock Sports Club who have played six encounters.
