Sri Lanka Police Sports Club registered a hard-fought 11-03 win over Sri Lanka Air Force in an Inter-Club A-Division Rugby League Tournament encounter at Police Park this evening.
Police led 08-00 at half time.
Yohan Peiris and Nuwan Perera put over a penalty each in the second half for Police and Air Force respectively as the home team managed to secure its first win over the season.
Meanwhile, Havelock Sports Club is currently taking on CH & FC at Havelock Park under floodlights.
Another 219 individuals have been arrested in relation to the violence reported on the 9th of May.
