Bangladesh has received another injury blow as off-spinner Nayeem Hasan is in doubt for the second Test against Sri Lanka due to injury.
Nayeem has fractured the middle finger of his right hand while fielding off his own bowling and after an X-ray, it was found out that the finger was broken.
BCB selector Habibul Bashar said he will likely be unavailable in the second Test against Sri Lanka.
He said they will have a better knowledge about the extent of his injury.
Bangladesh is already without Taskin Ahmed and Mehidy Hasan due to injury, while their premier left-arm pacer Shoriful Islam was ruled out after sustaining an injury on his wrist.
Nayeem picked six wickets in the first innings but hardly had the time to cherish his comeback after a gap of 15 months due to this injury.
