Sri Lanka Navy secured a hard-fought 18-10 win over CR & FC in an Inter-Club A-Division Rugby League Tournament encounter in Welisara this evening.

Navy trailed CR 07-10 at lemons.

But the home team managed to score a try through Amith Gurusinghe and put over two penalties to clinch only their second win of the season.

CR on the other hand failed to score in the latter half of the game.

The win helped Navy leapfrog CR to third in the Point Table.

Two games of the League tournament will be worked off tomorrow with Police Sports Club taking on Sri Lanka Air Force at Police Park at 4pm and Havelock Sports Club hosting CH & FC at Havelock Park at 6.30pm.
