Sri Lanka’s Mathilda Karlsson has been eliminated from the Equestrian-Jumping Individual event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic games.
Karlsson could not progress from the qualifies which are currently being worked-off at the Equestrian Park in Tokyo.
Only 30 of the 73 competitors will be eligible to compete for medals.
The elimination of Karlsson, who was the first Sri Lankan to qualify for the 2020 Tokyo Games, ends Sri Lanka’s journey for a medal at this year’s Olympics.
Nine Sri Lankans in total competed at Tokyo 2020 but no individual managed to achieve any notable achievement or progress to the next round.
