Table-toppers Kandy Sports Club extended its winning run by beating Sri Lanka Navy 35-30 in an Inter-Club A-Division Rugby League Tournament encounter at the Welisara Stadium this evening.
Kandy had a slender 08-06 at lemons.
The win also helped Kandy to remain at the top of the A-Division League Points Table.
Meanwhile, in the day’s second encounter, CR & FC defeated CH & FC 27-22 in a closely fought encounter at Longdon Place this evening.
