India has won the toss and elected to bat first against Sri Lanka in the third and final match of the One Day International series in Colombo.
Indian skipper Shikhar Dhawan had no hesitation to bat first since the visitors had already secured an unassailable 2-0 series lead.
Meanwhile, Sanju Samson, Nitish Rana, Chetan Sakariya, K Gowtham, Rahul Chahar received ODI debuts today.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka also made three changes to the playing XI from the second ODI with Praveen Jayawickrama, Akila Dananjaya and Ramesh Mendis coming into the side for the dead rubber.
Sri Lanka lost by 7 and 3 wickets respectively in the first and the second ODI and will be determined to avoid a series whitewash against the visiting team which is touring without some of their star players.
Both teams will also play a Twenty20 series starting Sunday.
