China has taken an early and a commanding lead to finish on top of the Medals Table at the 2020 Paralympic Games in Japan.

After the end of Day Three, China has secured 20 gold, 11 silver and 14 bronze medals for a tally of 45.

China has won six gold medals in Wheelchair Fencing events, five in Swimming, four each in Powerlifting and Athletics events and one from Cycling.

Great Britain has won nine gold, 10 silver and nine bronze medals to be placed second while the Russian Olympic Committee with a haul of nine gold, seven silver and 10 bronze, remains third in the standings.
