Final week matches of the first round of the Inter-Club A-Division Rugby League tournament will be worked off this weekend.

Sri Lanka Police will take on Sri Lanka Army at Police Park at 4.15 this evening.

A win for Police will ensure that they will compete in the Cup category in the second round of the tournament.

If they fail to win today’s encounter, then Sri Lanka Air Force will qualify for the cup segment.

Meanwhile, the blockbuster final game of the first round will see Defending Champions Kandy Sports Club taking on Havelock Sports Club in Nittawela tomorrow.

The game is slated to get underway at 4.15pm.

The winner of tomorrow’s encounter will finish on top of the Points Table at the end of the first round games.

The second round games are set to begin next week.
