They now have 24 gold medals, 14 silver and 13 bronze for a total of 51 medals.
The United States also won three gold medals yesterday to increase its tally to 20.
The US has 59 medals so far at Tokyo Games which include 23 silver and 16 bronze medals.
Hosts Japan has won 17 gold medals five silver and nine bronze medals and is placed third in the Medals standings.
76 countries in total have won at least one medal at the Tokyo Olympics after Day Nine.
