Dinesh Chandimal says the Galle deck prepared for tomorrow’s second test between Sri Lanka and the West Indies will once again favour the spinners.
Sri Lanka beat the West Indies in the series opener by 187 runs with spinners taking the bulk of the wickets.
Speaking ahead of the series finale, Dinesh Chandimal said the pitch to be used for the second test looks drier than the one used in the first.
He said the climate is also hot and humid and it will aid the spinners from the outset.
Commenting on his own performances, Chandimal said he is once again hoping to contribute to the success of the team with the bat and as well as a wicket-keeper.
The second and final test between Sri Lanka and West Indies will get underway at the Galle International Cricket stadium at 10am tomorrow.
