The penultimate day of the second and final Test of the series between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka will get underway 9am.

At stumps on Day three, Sri Lanka was on 282/5, still trailing by 83 runs.

Angelo Mathews was on 58 while Dinesh Chandimal was unbeaten on 10 when the rain interrupted day was brought to a premature end by bad light.

Dhananjaya de Silva was the last man to be dismissed in Sri Lanka’s innings for 58 while skipper Dimuth Karunaratne scored 80 opening the batting.

For Bangladesh, Shakib Al Hasan had figures of 3/59 while Ebadot Hossain had picked up 2/78. Bangladesh after opting to bat first scored 365.
