Australia skipper Aaron Finch won the toss and opted to send in Sri Lanka to bat first in the 2nd One Day International at the Pallekele International Stadium.

Australia leads the series 1-0 after some Glenn Maxwell magic saw the tourists chase down Sri Lanka’s 300/7 with nine balls remaining.

Sri Lanka is dealing with a massive blow with star all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga ruled out with a groin strain.

He was replaced by Jeffrey Vandersay. Meanwhile, Australia has made three changes against Sri Lanka after its injury crisis deepened after the first ODI.

Marcus Stoinis, Ashton Agar, and Jhye Richardson have all come out of the XI and have been replaced by debutant spinner Matthew Kuhnemann, Travis Head, and Mitchell Swepson.

Sri Lanka will be looking to make a comeback in this game. The hosts also suffered a 2-1 defeat in the T20I series earlier.
