Australia took major honours on Day One of the First Test against Sri Lanka at the Galle International Cricket Stadium.
At stumps on Day One, the Aussies were on 98/3, still trailing by 114 runs. Usman Khawaja was unbeaten on 47 while Travis Head was on 6.
Earlier, David Warner raced to 25 off 24 before Ramesh Mendis removed the Australian opener.
Mendis finished the day on 2/35.
Earlier this afternoon Sri Lanka was bundled out for 212 in the first innings of the first Test despite a quick-fire fifty from Niroshan Dickwella.
Wicket-keeper batter Dickwella scored his 21st fifty while playing in his 50th Test match.
Angelo Mathews hit 39 while Skipper Dimuth Karunaratne, Pathum Nissanka and Ramesh Mendis made 20s.
For Australia, Nathan Lyon spearheaded the bowling attack with 5/90 while Mitchell Swepson finished with figures of 3/55.
Earlier this morning, Skipper Dimuth Karunaratne won the toss and elected to bat first.
Day Two of the Test match will begin at 10am tomorrow.
