A special discussion is scheduled to be held today between President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and senior members of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party.
National Organiser of the SLFP State Minister Duminda Dissanayake said the meeting will be held at 11am.
State Minister Dissanayake said the discussion will mainly focus on matters related to the agreements reached between President Rajapaksa and the SLFP during the last Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
Speaking to media in Anuradhapura, State Minister Dissanayake said the SLFP is focused on guiding the government on the right path and not intending to defect from it.
He said SLFP seniors will also discuss the matters with the Chairman of the party.
