The Sri Lanka Transport Board has announced that bus services that were halted due to inter-provincial travel restrictions, will resume operations as per usual from today.
SLTB Chairman Kingsley Ranawaka said they will deploy adequate buses to transport passengers.
He claimed buses will operate according to the usual timetables from tomorrow.
The SLTB Chairman assured that buses will be operational to meet the demand of commuters, adding expressway buses will also be operational.
Meanwhile, General Manager of Railways Dhammika Jayasundara said trains will in operation from tomorrow, to provide inter-provincial transportation for essential workers.
