SLC Greys led by Dasun Shanaka secured back-to-back wins in the Sri Lanka Cricket Invitational Twenty20 League tournament by beating SLC Reds by 35 runs in Kandy this evening.
In the third game of the tournament played at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, the Greys after winning the toss went on to post 154/8 in 20 overs.
Skipper Shanaka once again top scored with 48 runs off 38 deliveries.
For the Reds, Seekkuge Prasanna picked up 2/9 while Prabath Jayasuriya had figures of 2/29.
In their reply, the Reds could only muster 119/9 in their allotted 20 overs.
Oshada Fernando played the anchor role scoring 52 off 49 balls but the remaining batters failed to make any notable contributions.
Ashian Daniel, Lahiru Madushanka and Nuwan Pradeep picked up two wickets apiece for the Greys.
They won the opening game over Greens by one run yesterday.
Meanwhile, in the fourth game of the tournament, SLC Blues are currently taking on SLC Greens at the same venue.
