A special discussion will be held between President Ranil Wickremesinghe and representatives of the Samagi Jana Balawegaya today.
The meeting will mainly focus on the formation of an all-party government, the proposed Parliamentary committee system and the 19th Amendment to the Constitution.
Speaking to NewsRadio, Parliamentarian Tissa Attanayake said leaders of the constituent parties of the SJB will attend the meeting with the President in the afternoon.
He said they will also discuss the common minimum programme of the government to steer the country forward.
MP Attanayake claimed they will support the government in positive aspects through the Parliamentary committee system.
He added the opposition will also present their inputs for the common minimum programme that is needed for the country to solve the current crisis.
