Over six million individuals have been fully vaccinated against the novel coronavirus in Sri Lanka.
The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 6,121,540 individuals have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine thus far.
239,650 individuals were administered vaccine doses against the coronavirus yesterday.
6,332 individuals were administered the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine, while 805 persons received the second dose.
Meanwhile 15,548 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine while 93,434 individuals were administered the second Sinopharm dose.
48,320 individuals also received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine while 196 individuals received the second Pfizer dose.
Furthermore, 15 persons were given the first jab of the Moderna vaccine, and 73,308 persons received the second jab.
1,692 individuals also received the second dose of the Sputnik-V vaccine yesterday.
