Over seven million individuals have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in Sri Lanka.

The Epidemiology Unit of the Ministry of Health said 7,042,418 individuals have received both doses of a COVID-19 vaccine thus far.

188,052 individuals were administered vaccine doses against the coronavirus yesterday.

4,528 individuals were administered the first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine, while 679 persons received the second dose.

Meanwhile 14,207 persons were administered the first dose of the Sinopharm vaccine while 131,544 individuals were administered the second Sinopharm dose.

32 individuals also received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine while 796 individuals received the second Pfizer dose.

Furthermore, five persons were given the first jab of the Moderna vaccine and 36,261 persons received the second dose.
