The second stock of Indian-manufactured nano nitrogen liquid fertiliser purchased by Sri Lanka arrived at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
The Duty Officer at the BIA confirmed that two special cargo planes of the Indian Air Force arrived this morning.
The first flight arrived at the BIA at 12.06am.
It reportedly carried 44,730kg of nano nitrogen liquid fertiliser.
The second flight carrying 44,773kg of nano nitrogen liquid fertiliser arrived at the BIA at 3.02 this morning.
NewsRadio airport correspondent said preparations are in place to take the stock of fertiliser to the Central Storage of the Ministry of Agriculture.
