COLOMBO (NewsRadio); All government and government-approved schools will close for April holidays today.
The first school term for the 2023 academic year commenced on the 27th of March.
The Ministry of Education said schools will resume academic activities once again on the 17th of April.
The second phase of the first school term for the year 2023 will continue until the 12th of May.
Schools will be closed for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination from the 13th to the 24th of May.
The Education Ministry said the final phase of the first school term will be between the 25th of May and the 20th of July.
