Indictments have been served on Parliamentarian Johnston Fernando and two others at the Colombo High Court, in connection with the case filed by the Commission to Investigate Bribery or Corruption.
The trio is accused of using employees of Lanka Sathosa for political activities in the year 2012.
Colombo High Court Judge Aditya Patabendige ordered the release of the defendants on two surety bails amounting to Rs.5 million each.
Indictments were served on Former Minister Johnston Fernando, Former Chairman of Lanka Sathosa Eraj Fernando and its former Director Kaja Mohideen Mohammad Shakir.
The defendants appeared before Court today according to the notices issued by the Court previously.
The case is scheduled to be taken up for hearing once again on the 21st of October.
