The All Ceylon Ports General Employees Union has written to President Gotabaya Rajapaksa requesting the decision taken to transfer 18 acres of land belonging to the Sri Lanka Ports Authority and services of the Ports Authority to a Chinese company be revoked immediately.
The letter states that subject Minister Rohitha Abeygunawardena submitted the relevant Cabinet Paper at a Cabinet of Ministers meeting on the 21st of July and obtained approval.
